Lady Gong
Sara Emilionie was a concert pianist, performing at the early age of 8, struggling with perfectionism, anxiety and stress because of the environmental expectation of her as a “promise”. After finishing her musical education Sara Emilionie hit the lock of the piano. It took her 20 years to find her way back to an instrument and if it wasn`t for her meeting with the Gongs, maybe she would never had found her way home.
”The separation from my piano playing was the cruelest separation and maybe the biggest loss I have experienced. Beside of all the stress, music was my channel for emotions and my deepest love”.
When she plays, she always start with honoring each of her Gongs, asking them for permission to be a channel for their unique potential and healing capacity. Then she ask the receiver of the sound bath to cooperate, invite the multi-layers of harmonic sound and let each of the gongs connect to their hearts”.
Her Gong teacher is the Gong and the wise advice she once got from a colleague: “just pray, play and get out of the way”.
The brain entertainment is not her show. The brain entertainment is a natural effect of the stimuli of the sound which beneficially modifies brainwave frequencies.
Gong meditation synchronizes the brain waves without you doing anything at all. And maybe that is the greatest gift of a sound bath – we get an opportunity to let go of our own doing mode, the state which is the biggest obstacle to entering our being mode – which contains everything we need to find the power and life force within us.
After 10 years as a professional yoga therapist and performance coach within the corporate world, national health system and schools, Sara has realized that the Gong is without any doubt, the most efficient tool for stress reduction and body and mind balance.
